In April 2022 our team provided surgical care in Zambia. The team composed of Pediatric Surgeons, General Surgeons and ENT Surgeons served the Arthur Davison Children Hospital in Ndola as well as the reginal hospital in Mambilima.
We performed complex surgical interventions ranging from myelomeningocele coverage procedures to neonatal interventions to colorectal procedures and pediatric hernias.
Our fellows and students were involved in teaching and presentations during our visit.
