Members of the GPSA are involved in helping create the next generation of pediatric healthcare providers. In 2023, Dr.Andrei Radulescu was one of the Board Examiners for the Pediatric Surgery oral examination held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as part of The College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA), the largest Surgical Training Institution in Sub-Saharan Africa.
During the same time, we also extended our reach to a new facility in Banepa, Nepal – Scheer Memorial Hospital with plans to build sustainable relationships and future team building through pediatric surgical camps. We appreciate Dr.Angela Basnet’s leadership and involvement in all aspects of this collaboration.
