Dr. Mark Kashtan is a current fellow in pediatric surgery at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI and his general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. He has obtained a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health with specialization in biostatistics and health policy, and is a graduate of the surgical research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital where he focused on diagnosis and management of acute appendicitis, quality improvement and antibiotic stewardship.
