Dr. Fransua Sharafeddin is a postdoctoral fellow at Loma Linda University Surgery Department, and Neuroscience PhD candidate at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He received his MD from Rostov State Medical University in Russia in 2009. He completed his neurosurgery residency program at Rostov State Medical University in 2014. In 2016 Dr. Sharafeddin completed his neurosurgery clinical fellowship in skull base and cerebrovascular diseases at University of Helsinki in Finland. He has been awarded the C. Ehrnrooth Foundation grant twice, in 2014 and 2015, which is dedicated to post-graduate studies, training and research in neurosurgery and diagnostics. In 2017 Dr. Sharafeddin completed his Neurosurgery postdoctoral fellowship from Arkansas Neuroscience Institute. In 2018 he competed his Neuroscience postdoctoral fellowship from Loma Linda University Center for Neuroscience Research. In 2018 Dr. Sharafeddin started his PhD training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. During his education in the PhD program he has been involved in teaching medical, dental, and dental hygiene students.
