I completed Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center with multiple Academic Excellence Awards. Following residency, I completed advanced fellowship training in Craniofacial surgery at the University of California San Diego, where I obtained further subspecialty training on a variety of highly complex and innovative surgical procedures related to several Craniofacial problems and defects. The more exposure I had to Craniofacial surgery, the deeper I fell in love with it. From the simplest scar revision to the most complicated craniofacial reconstruction and everything in between. Given my training background, I have a special interest in congenital birth defects (including cleft lip, palate, craniosynostosis, ear reconstruction, jaw surgeries, etc) rhinoplasties, oculoplastic surgeries (including blepharoplasties, brow lift, and ptosis repairs, etc), and other cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgeries. I also enjoy performing general plastic/reconstructive and burn surgeries all over the body. I cannot imagine a more fulfilling job.
It is my commitment to provide the absolute best patient-centered care to my patients by fostering a partnership with them. I highly value the trust that my patients place in me. My philosophy is to develop a plan that respects my patients’ desires and expectations, in collaboration with my surgical expertise. I believe that it is my personal responsibility to give my patients and their loved ones care that is supported by the utmost compassion, innovation, and technology.
